As I sit her FINALLY typing out what I assume will be the start of my blog someday. I am immediately rushed with guilt for not doing this sooner. The window besides my desk is open, which is random, and as I hear the sweet, sweet chirps of the birds singing their tunes it makes me ponder on the thought of what they might be saying. Could they be expressing their love for one another? Could the ‘wife’ bird be yelling to the ‘husband’ bird to hurry up and bring food for the babies? Or, just maybe, the birds could be singing to God as they rest right before closing their eyes for the night, thanking our heavenly Father for providing yet another day of blessings?
Either way, it’s a beautiful moment for me.
Although, I could be and should be enjoying a nap while my baby naps right before the rush of the evening comes. My son will come home from school first, then my husband from work shortly after and this will all bring on a level of busy that will make the next three hours fly by with a feeling as if only one hour has passed; but still, I can’t help but to sit here and take it all in: Breeze blowing in through the window, brushing across my check turning it chilling. The quiet of the house, I'm sure you could hear a pin drop. The few dogs barking in the distance, and the beautiful thoughts that race in my mind of how bright life is in just this moment of STILLNESS. Thank you Lord.
